Ajax sunflower seeds (Ajax, NS DFSP) are a Evrosem hybrid grown according to the classical production system. It is a high-performance crop of the Serbian originator NS Seme (Serbia).
Ajax sunflower hybrid (Ajax, NS DFSP) has a tolerance to 5 broomrape races. Sunflower seeds have a yield potential of 60 c/ha. Average yield in regions is 37.4 to 46.6 c/ha. Oil content of Ajax seeds is 50-52%.
The growing season of the Ajax crop is 109-114 days. The hybrid is resistant to drought and seed loss from the basket.
Ajax sunflower seeds are available in the technological pre-sowing treatment such as Basis, Optimum and Premium. Premium treatment of Ajax sunflower seeds significantly increases the final yield, as it allows the potential of the crop to be fully revealed. Evrosem Premium treatment includes three fungicides (fludioxonil, metalaxyl-m and thiram), a growth stimulant based on phytohormone and Evrostim Premium microfertilizer).
