Groot sunflower seeds are a Evrosem hybrid grown using Clearfield production system. It is a high-performance crop of the Serbian originator NS Seme (Serbia).

Groot sunflower hybrid has a tolerance to 5 broomrape races. Sunflower seeds have a yield potential of 57 c/ha. Oil content of Groot seeds is 49-51%.
The growing season of the crop is 110-115 days. The hybrid is resistant to cold, drought and seed loss from the sunflower head.

Groot sunflower seeds are available in three types of the technological pre-sowing treatment such as Basis, Optimum and Premium. Premium treatment of Groot sunflower seeds significantly increases the final yield, as it allows the potential of the crop to be fully revealed. Evrosem Premium treatment includes three fungicides (fludioxonil, metalaxyl-m and thiram), a growth stimulant based on phytohormone and Evrostim Premium microfertilizer).
