Ortus 7+ Sumo sunflower hybrid is tolerant to all races of downy mildew, has the maximum potential among OR-hybrids of 57 c/ha. Oil content in the seeds of the harvested crop is 51-53%.

The crop is resistant to 7+ broomrape races, so it can be grown in the parasitic plant distribution areas. Recommended areas for growing are southern, eastern, central regions.

Ortus 7+ Sumo hybrid has the highest score of drought resistance and high tolerance to diseases: phomopsis, Macrophomina phaseolina, white rot, downy mildew.
