Oscar Ol sunflower seeds are a highly drought-resistant Serbian hybrid. Origin of parental lines is the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops NS Seme (Novi Sad, Serbia).

The Oscar Ol hybrid belongs to the high oleic type. It is grown using classical production system. The potential yield is 49 c/ha. Seed oil content of the harvested crop is 49-51%.

In compliance with the production system for growing sunflower hybrid Oscar Ol, the content of oleic acid in the crop is 90%. The sowing material is grown by analogy with other hybrids of classical production system, without requiring special costs and equipment to obtain high oleic seeds.

Advantages of Oscar Ol sunflower hybrid:

  • high oleic hybrid
  • plasticity to growing conditions
  • resistant to lodging, high ambient temperatures and drought
  • cold-resistant.

Oscar Ol seed is presented in three technological solutions: basis, optimum and premium. Oscar Ol Premium seeds are treated with three fungicides, microfertilizer and phytohormonal regulator to stimulate germination in the early stages of development. High-quality seed processing gives the crop a powerful push to development at the beginning of growth, which determines the disclosure of the crop potential.
