New high-performance sunflower hybrid Sumo Novo is developed for Granstar technology (Sumo, Express). Sowing material from Serbian originator NS Seme (Novi Sad, Serbia).
Distinctive features of Sumo Novo hybrid are high resistance to drought and low temperatures at the beginning of growing season. It can be recommended for areas with low distribution of broomrape, resistant to 6 races of the parasitic plant.
The yield potential of Sumo Novo is 55 c/ha, its seed oil content is 53%. The sunflower hybrid belongs to productive high-oleic type.
Advantages of Sumo Novo sunflower hybrid:
- high oil content
- withstands treatment with sulfonylurea-based herbicides
- inhibits the growth of six broomrape races
- tolerance to disease and stresses.
Each seed of Sumo Novo hybrid undergoes high-quality processing. Three technological solutions have been developed for Sumo Novo, these are basis, optimum, premium. Careful treatment with three fungicides, Evrostim Premium microfertilizer and phytohormone gives the crop a strong start at the beginning of growth and allows you to get friendly seedlings that are not damaged by disease.
