New high-performance sunflower hybrid Sumo Novo is developed for Granstar technology (Sumo, Express). Sowing material from Serbian originator NS Seme (Novi Sad, Serbia).

Distinctive features of Sumo Novo hybrid are high resistance to drought and low temperatures at the beginning of growing season. It can be recommended for areas with low distribution of broomrape, resistant to 6 races of the parasitic plant.

The yield potential of Sumo Novo is 55 c/ha, its seed oil content is 53%. The sunflower hybrid belongs to productive high-oleic type.
