800 Test Plots for Broomrape Research on the Field of Knowledge Agropolygon in 2024

In 2024, on the ‘Field of Knowledge’ agropolygon, we continue our large-scale study of broomrape with 800 experimental plots. We were pleased to host partners from the European Consortium for Broomrape Research.

In 2024, we continue a large-scale broomrape study on 800 experimental plots at the Field of Knowledge scientific research site. We warmly welcomed our partners from the European Consortium for Broomrape Research. The collaboration with leading European researchers opens up opportunities for exchanging knowledge and implementing innovative approaches to combat this parasitic plant.

Our team seeks to share knowledge and developments not only with local farmers, but also prioritizes international research, involving scientists from multiple countries. This international partnership grants us access to the latest technologies aimed at increasing crop yields and reducing the impact of broomrape parasitic plant on agriculture.

In addition to joint research, within the framework of the project, we conduct regular workshops and hands-on training sessions for farmers to help them understand and implement new technologies and methods of combating broomrape. With the support of a vast partner network and cooperation with the consortium, we are able to study broomrape at various growth stages, analyze the effectiveness of various control methods and adapt these methods to each region’s unique conditions. Our achievements are paving the way for farmers worldwide to reduce pest control costs and significantly improve farm productivity.
