THE AMIGO CORN HYBRID HAS HIGH YIELD POTENTIAL AND RESISTANCE TO DROUGHT. THE HYBRID WAS DEVELOPED BY THE NS SEME INSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURE AND VEGETABLE PRODUCTION (SERBIA).
Amigo corn seed is an intensive type hybrid with a potential of 15 t/ha. It belongs to the medium early maturity group with FAO 300-320. Amigo corn is resistant to drought, lodging and early spring frosts. The hybrid is a grain crop that quickly loses moisture when it reaches physiological maturity. Amigo corn seeds are treated with the fungicidal seed treatment Fever and complex micro fertiliser. This makes the seeds resistant to diseases in the soil and allows them to form fast and aligned seedlings.
