Oleksandr Dobrovolskyi, Evrosem’s manager, recently visited the ‘Novyi Myr’ farm in Lypova Dolyna urban-type settlement, Sumy region, where the farm sowed the Diego corn hybrid on May 22. As of June 20, Diego corn with FAO 240 feels great and has formed 7-8 leaves.
The seeds were planted in parched soil, following sunflower as a predecessor crop. A sowing density is 84,000 seeds per hectare. Urea fertilizer was applied at 100 kg/ha during planting.
Despite the lack of precipitation after sowing, they received good seedlings in Sumy region and are preparing to apply herbicides to control weeds.
Diego is a new hybrid in our company line, which appeared only this year. Diego hybrid is characterized by high plasticity, adaptability to light soils and rapid moisture recovery.
