Preparing for the new farming season is always a crucial stage that requires proven solutions. That is why we held a joint meeting with partners for farmers in Chernihiv Oblast. Our aim was to discuss, without unnecessary pomp or fluff, the specific steps needed for a successful start to the 2026 season.
Priorities for the North: hybrids, nutrition and colleagues’ experience
Chernihiv region has its own climatic characteristics, which we took into account during the discussion. We talked about the most important issues:
Adaptive genetics: How to correctly select sunflower and maize hybrids for the specific conditions of the North to minimise risks.
Effective fertilisation schemes: We presented technologies that enable high yields to be maintained even under stressful weather conditions.
Real-world case studies: We analysed the results of farms in the region that have already tested Eurosem seeds on their own fields and achieved consistent yields.
Such meetings are valuable above all for the lively dialogue they foster. Practical questions from farmers help us better understand the needs of each specific field, and help farmers obtain solutions that work in practice, not just in theory. Thank you to the participants for their active involvement! Together, we are preparing for a successful season.
