The Evrosem team’s corporate day didn’t start at the office, but at a sunflower hybridization field. On August 6, the sales team and the marketing department visited a sunflower hybridization field in the Bila Tserkva district.
This time, the focus was on Evrosem’s Tor 7+ Sumo. Instead of presentations and slides, there were plants, rows of sunflowers, and a conversation right in the middle of the field. Agronomist Bohdan Gulko told the team about the hybrid’s characteristics, how to grow it, and what to look out for throughout the season.
For a team that works daily with seeds, marketing, sales, and agronomy, seeing the hybrid in the field offers a completely different way to get to know the product. Here, they could not only hear about the characteristics of Tor 7+ Sumo but also see the plants in person, ask the agronomist questions, and discuss specific details right in the field. That’s exactly what the sales team did, asking countless questions of the agronomist who is directly involved in creating Euroseem’s profitable hybrids.
After the field portion, the day changed locations but not its pace. The next stop was the “Strichka” restaurant at VDNG, where the entire Evrosem team had already gathered. Here, the conversation moved beyond seeding density, growing seasons, or cultivation techniques. After the work portion, it was time to set aside business matters and simply spend time together.
The team enjoyed group activities, socializing, and team-building. It is precisely these kinds of gatherings that allow us to see our colleagues not only in the context of work tasks, deadlines, and meetings, but in a different, informal atmosphere.
